  7.     Mourning his murdered lover, Playboy playmate Dorothy
  8. Stratten, director Peter Bogdanovich (Mask, The Last Picture
  9. Show) profusely thanked her mother and siblings. "They took me
  10. into their family and taught me a kind of love as selfless as
  11. Dorothy's," he wrote. Four years later he flipped over
  12. Stratten's sister Louise, then graduating from high school. "I
  13. guess we discovered we were much closer than we thought,"
  14. recalled the director last week, after revealing he had married
  15. Louise, 20, in Vancouver on Dec. 30. The bride's mother wept:
  16. "I've lost another daughter." Said Bogdanovich, 49, now at work
  17. on Texasville, a sequel to The Last Picture Show: "She's sorry
  18. she said that. She's not herself at the moment." He added,
  19. "Louise is very different from Dorothy. We have a different
  20. relationship." The new Mrs. B. has already appeared in one of
  21. his movies -- just like Dorothy.
